Zone 9 Seniors Side Perform Well in State Inter-zone Competition

The Zone 9 Seniors Side played very well as a team and were undefeated in Sectional Play. They defeating arch rivals Zone 15 by 15 shots in Round 1, then in a tight finish  against the Zone 6 Side, they prevailed by 1 shot and followed up the next morning with a comfortable win against Zone 1 by 38 shots. This set up a semi-final clash against Zone 16, who defeated our Side by 5 shots in a hard fought match.

We extend our congratulations to the Side for a great performance in reaching the Semi-Finals and were only defeated by the eventual Winners, Zone 16, by 5 shots.  Zone 16 went on to defeat Zone 12 in the Final 74 shots to 59 shots.

Congratulations to the Zone 16 Side on a very good win in the Final.
