Returning to the green after a 3-week hiatus, both the Belrose Bulls and the Harbord Hawks will be looking for success when the Metro Grade 1 competition resumes tomorrow.  With only 5 matches to complete the season, this weekend's double-header, with matches on both Saturday and Sunday, will go long way to determining the make-up of the top 6.

Belrose entered the break in top spot on the ladder after a brilliant start to the season and will be looking to consolidate their position when they face the Cabramatta Bullants at home on Saturday and the Merrylands Magic away on Sunday.  Both opponents this weekend feature well-known former Belrose Bulls, with Billy Johnson at Cabramatta and Steve Rawlings at Merrylands, so the banter across the green should be fascinating!!

Harbord faces a road-trip to Grandviews on Saturday and then host the star-studded Mt Lewis Lions at home on Sunday.  Having managed only 2 wins to date, the Hawks know their season is on the line but, having knocked off the highly fancied Engadine in an earlier round, they also know they have the ability to challenge anyone.

For those looking for some bowls action on Sunday, the Harbord v Mt Lewis match begins at 10.30am.  Supporters and visitors are most welcome!!
