BA ARTIFICIAL DEVICES POLICY

Mark Alexander, Friday, 15 March 2019

Bowls Australia have released an updated ARTIFICIAL DEVICES POLICY (refer link below) which becomes effective from 1st May 2019.

The most significant change to this policy concerns the use of a BOWLERS ARM whereby, from 1st May 2019, it will no longer be necessary for a bowler wishing to use such a device to obtain a medical certificate and seek approval from the relevant State Association (ie. BNSW).

The rules governing the use of a bowlers arm still apply.
